Continuing math tests next week ( Tuesday, May 22nd) in Graphing ( stem and leaf diagrams) and word problems involving fractions.

Students need to complete the reading of the class novel "Amish adventure" and to write in a key point form, some facts of living of the Amish people..
On another lined piece of paper, students need to select an example of situation and to identify and describe the main character : Ian McDonald's feelings toward this situation.

Thanks to all the students who have brought back all their Math tests signed..Could the other students, please bring back your math tests signed. It's important that I have all that by Monday, May 14th, to start the marks compilation for the final reports.

Science Test ( final part) tomorrow Wednesday May 9th, 2012
This test will only be on the structure of the heart ( students will need to label the parts of the heart) and the blood flow . ( Circulatory system ) Students need to bring back the science books as well as all the science booklets.

Science test ( first part) was done today.
Please note that we will be having another science test on Wednesday, May 9th, this time , the test will be on the blood flow and the structure of the heart..

As homework, Students got two math booklets one on fractions and another one on numeration and division/ multiplication, These two booklets are due back on Monday, May 14th.

My students will be reviewing and revising all science worksheets in preparation of a Science test next Monday, May 7
- Les composantes du sang.
- Les os, le squelette
- Le systeme digestif
- Le systeme respiratoire
- Le systeme circulatoire.. ( the blood flow)

Each student has received a copy of the novel "Amish Adventure" by Barbara Smucker and will read it independently in class. They will be asked later on to write in key points the facts of living of the Amish people and their particular lifestyle.
Students are encouraged to make annotations ( page number, etc.) and to jot down any information pertaining to the Amish lifestyle, to avoid re reading the book, for their written assignment.
